I laid on the meadow, the sun was setting. Strands of magnificent shades of colors were spread towards the sky, it was bright but it was quite a sight for sore eyes. I turned my head slightly, and saw her, amazed at such a simple yet magnificent sight. Our hands were loosely entwined, but tour relationship did not contain romance, they were best friends.

I chuckled lightly, her attention was on me. I smiled at her, "you never saw a sun set before?"

She blushed from embarassment, "w-well... You know how protective my brother was..."

Smiling, I wrapped my arms around her shoulders, warming her. Seriously, the school's uniform for girls had the most shortest skirt. I felt both sorry and grateful since I could admire her long, white legs from afar. I knew I wanted more from this friendship of ours. But, I'm content. Just being friends with her, was more than enough for me.
